Oque é realização pra você?
Hoje, me enrolei com a volta das aulas aqui em casa e me atrasei pra chegar na Spirale.
Ao chegar lá, entrei no studio tentando entender quem era a pessoa que fazia uma série de rowings tão lindamente...
Foi o tempo de respirar um pouco e perceber que minha aluna, que não é instrutora de Pilates, já estava ali, praticando...
Que orgulho eu senti na hora! Como me senti realizada! Eu sempre digo para meus alunos que podem ir e praticar, mas ver isso acontecer, me deixou mto feliz.
A aluna, que hoje é uma amiga, me lembrou que tempos atrás, tudo era mto mais difícil. Fazer o teaser era o nosso desafio... hj, trabalhamos em um tendon Stretch bem lindo!

Joseph Pilates believed that focusing on breathing was vital. “It is tragically deplorable,” he once said, “to contemplate the millions who have never mastered the art of correct breathing.”

Joseph Pilates said passionately: “To breathe correctly you must completely inhale and exhale, always trying very hard to 'squeeze' every atom of impure air from your lungs in much the same manner that you would wring every drop of water from a wet cloth”

Have you taken a deep breath today? 💨 I am using the #breathacizer to see my breath spin the pinwheel and exhale every drop of air from my lungs 🫁 as I flex my spine. When it stops spinning, I inhale and come back to standing💨 🔁

2. I’m from Amherst, MA, live in NYC but have also lived in LA & Turks & Caicos.

3. I haven’t left #Brooklyn since March. Thanks, COVID.

5. I drink my coffee black ☕️

6. I was a vegan for years but I’m a total carnivore now. 🍔

7. I have an enduring crush on Dwayne The Rock Johnson 🤷🏽‍♀️

You have probably heard this many times but it is always so easy to get lost within a millions diets and advices around 😌 everyone has something different to say. A friend of mine had been a Keto devotee for a year and found it great - lost weight, improved her Heath and blood pressure, found the support groups and food deliveries catering to her needs. Other is vegan and it also gives a great mood, skin, energy.

Tune in with your own body. No one ☝️ knows YOUR body better than you DO! Take advantage of it!

🌱Start slow and make one small change at time. If you like to have dessert every evening after dinner - make it 2 evening per week. If you like to drink sugary drink with your lunch - drink water flavoured with lemon or tea (so many delicious options ☺️)
🌱 Being more colours onto your plate! Veggies 🍅 fruits 🍌 herbs 🌿 are all so great! All of them a are packed with nutrients! Get to try few recipes with them and find your favourite!
🌱 Encourage your family members to share the meals with you. Don’t sit at the dinner table with your “healthy” plate while the rest of the family devouring that take away pizza 🍕 😉
🌱 Have the cake and eat it too! On special occasions, on blue days on days when you just feel like it - have your sweet, sours etc and blame yourself - enjoy every bite and move on! No one said ever that oh I put on 3 kg from a slice of cake yesterday! Unless you had it every day of week 😛
🌱 Do eat as much as it will make you feel full and than eat another meal when you are super hungry. Don’t try to put yourself into believe on either 2 meals per day or 8. Listen to your body and feed it when it needs it 😀
